• My site is not even a blip on the radar in the search engines and on some computers, it looks out of whack and not how I see it on my computer.

  Solution: We will build your site so the HTML code in the back-end is fully validated and error free. This makes it automatically search engine (SEO) friendly AND displayed as it should no matter what browser the viewer is using.
  We also won't use frames. Frames block search engines from indexing your site.

• "My stats indicate people are leaving after just a few seconds on my site."

  Solution: Large files will bog down your site performance and people will leave rather than wait for the page to appear. We optimize all images for speedy download time. We are judicious with images - the content is what is most important here.

• My site looks like my competitor's.

  Solution: We don't use cookie-cutter templates. Period. Templates are coded terribly and look the same as your competitor. We design your site to be as unique as you are.

• My site was entirely built in Flash and looks very nice but people are saying it's too busy and too overwhelming. We can't find our site in the search engines either.

  Solution: We avoid using Flash unless it really works for the purpose of the site in small areas. Flash-built sites cannot be indexed by the search engines and have the potential to not be viewed by certain computers and browsers.

• Apparently I can update my own site but I don't have the time nor the inclination to learn to be a website developer.

I've had some wonderful responses to the changes in my website we did this spring. In the past, the site generated interest and requests to see my portfolio and albums. There was definitely a process of contact, a meeting, discussion and decision. But the updated site creates so much confidence that clients are booking me without needing further examples of my work.
