Getting Off The Merry-Go-Round Book Recommendation
Every once in a while, a really good book comes along that must be mentioned. At least I think it’s a great book! This one is called “Getting off The Merry-go-Round” by Jan Janzen. I actually met Jan several years ago when she was organising terrific women’s events through “Women Empowering Women” in Vancouver, and I was delighted to see she had written a book on helping people get rid of a lot of “stuff” that prevents us from succeeding in life, whatever that might be for us.
What I got out of this book is how much our current lives are wrapped up and distorted by our past. Our very own DNA at the cellular level has this unique memory that stores everything that we think about and experience, and the more we think about something (whether good or bad) the more power that memory has to affect our current thoughts, feelings and overall view of the world. This often, in turn, affects our self esteem, self value and capabilities that can really prevent us from fulfilling our life’s purpose.
Read the book and find out how all this works and also find out how you can literally “talk” your cells into believing a whole new, much better story and begin to live the life you were meant to live!
Have you read the book? If so, submit a comment and tell us what you think!
