Susan Friesen, President

Sue Friesen Founder and President Susan Friesen brings a unique advantage to eVision Media clients by having earned a Bachelor in Business Administration degree with a concentration in Computer Information Systems through the Thompson River's University.

Her eleven years of experience in the Web Development industry has gained her much insight and knowledge in how to create an effectively designed and search engine friendly website. She is a graduate of the Vancouver Film School Multi-Media program and also earned several certificates in technology through the University of Victoria and Athabasca University.

She won the 2003-2004 Governor General's Bronze Academic Award for achieving the highest academic standing in a diploma-level post secondary program.

Susan is a past webmaster for the collectively-owned Hollinger websites such as The Vancouver Sun, The Province, Vancouver Today and others (they are all now under the canada.com umbrella). She currently works with Tourism BC on the North American www.hellobc.com website, as well as the UK and Australian sister sites.

Susan is a member of the Women Designer's Group, a member-based community of women entrepreneurs in web design and development.

Daniel Simmons, SEO Specialist & Bookkeeper

Daniel Simmons is the accountant and SEO Specialist for eVision Media. Daniel has earned a Bachelors degree from San Diego State University in Criminal Justice and Public Administration and well as an Associate degrees from The University of Phoenix in Accounting and Grossmont College in Criminal Law. He has a passion for problem solving... whether it is number crunching or boosting the number of visitors to our client's sites, he's the best man for the job!

Warren Brown, programmer/Network Admin

Warren Brown Warren has been with eVision Media since February 2007 where he is our network administrator and a senior programmer. He holds a degree in Computer Information Systems (CIS) from the University of the Fraser Valley (UFV).

Warren is proficient with the programming and scripting languages we use to build web based applications, such as PHP, ASP, Java, JavaScript, HTML, Action Script, AJAX, XML and CSS. eVision Media's internal communications system is also administrated by Warren.

Tim Packer, Graphic Designer

Tim Packer Tim is our longest standing Graphic Designer on staff who also carries with him an extensive background in marketing, business and web design. His credentials include a diploma in Graphic Design & Communication as well as a diploma in Web Development through the CDI college.

He is proficiently knowledgeable in most industry standard softwares (Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash) and plenty of development languages including PHP, javascript, actionscript, CSS, XHTML, Ajax and DHTML. His passions include snowboarding, hockey, softball, music, problem solving, experiencing new challenges and learning anything new.

Dilpreet Bawa, Content Specialist

Dilpreet is our eNewsletter expert and also takes care of our client site updates. She is currently enrolled in the CIS (Computer Information Systems degree) at the University of the Fraser Valley. She is proficient in HTML, VB.Net and Java programming. She has great problem solving skills. Her interests are listening to music, spending time with friends and family and writing java programs.

Yan Jiang (Cindy), Content Specialist

Cindy Cindy is currently studying in the CIS degree program at UFV. She graduated from College LASALLE in Multimedia Design program and is proficient in HTML and the Adobe software suite of programs. She currently updates client sites, creates desktop publishing layouts and also uses her artistic talents in designing banner ads and Flash pieces. During her spare time she enjoys hanging out, going shopping, and travelling with friends.

Andy Gilson, Programmer

Andy comes to the team working mostly between the hours of 11pm and 1am. He has been building web sites for several years for non-profits, small businesses, and larger companies such as Telus and Seagate. He speaks Spanish and French, and is currently studying hard to add Mandarin. Andy holds a BSc in Chemistry as well as a diploma in Accelerated Computer Systems Management. His most recent programming skills include php, ajax, perl, and vb.net. He enjoys practicing yoga and qi gong with friends, and when not frantically attempting to remote view Friday's Lotto Max numbers, can be found settling in with a cold stout.

Kelsie Lengert, Graphic Designer

Kelsie Lengert Kelsie is an energetic Graphic designer & Illustrator that graduated with a diploma from the IDEA program at Capilano U. Proficient in Indesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator she loves taking on new challenges. When she's not designing she can be found in front of her easel painting with oils, in the kitchen experimenting with new flavours or on the North Shore mountain biking downhill.

Chris Woodbridge, Programmer

Chris A stranger to computers as fish are to water, Chris comes to the team with enthusiasm and resolve. If there's a will, there's a way; there is no shortage of the former when it comes to this developer. Chris is attending the Computer Systems Technology program at BCIT. He's had his hand in an array of web development languages including (X)HTML, CSS, Javascript, and PHP. On top of that is experience in C/C++/C#, Java, and the Win32 API. Should he encounter the unfamiliar, it is just simply another barrier to overcome. However, even Chris gets away from technology once in a while. He currently holds a PADI Advanced Scuba Diver certificate, and enjoys other activities such as hiking and backpacking/camping.

Walter Johnstone-Breen, Programmer

Walter Walter is in the CIS Degree program at the University of the Fraser Valley. He first got interested in computers and the Internet when he was 13, and since then has become proficient with various web technologies. When he isn't busy on a computer, Walter enjoys Paintball, Soccer, Footbag, and of course long walks on the beach.

Leanne Tanaka, Administrator

Leanne has joined the team to help with some administrative tasks. Her main task is to manage client databases that use "Send Out Cards" for their business communications. She has the sacred gift of making people feel welcome, which makes it easy for her to do her job!
